The right NFL ugly Christmas sweater depends less on the sweater and more on the person opening it. A diehard who wears the logo every Sunday wants something different from the relative who has the tree up by November 1.
Below are our NFL ugly sweater gift ideas for five kinds of fans: ten designs across nine teams. After that you’ll find the full team list, a quick sizing guide, and holiday ordering tips.
Quick picks
- Classic fan: a logo-forward design (Vikings, Chiefs)
- Christmas lover: reindeer, snowflakes, and holiday symbols (Bills, Packers)
- Couples: a rivalry pair (Lions and Bears)
- Families: festive designs in adult and kids’ sizes (49ers, Eagles)
- Personalized gift: add a name at checkout (Bills, Dolphins)
Gift Ideas for Every Kind of NFL Fan
Every pick below comes in adult sizes S–6XL and kids’ sizes Toddler 2T–Youth XL.
Best for Classic Fans
Classic fans want the team front and center. These designs lead with the logo, so they work at a game-day watch party as well as a Christmas party.
Minnesota Vikings Ugly Christmas Sweater – Logo Print With Diamond Pattern
Team: Minnesota Vikings
Why it works: Purple diamonds on a black body, a purple chest band with the Vikings name and logo, and gold trim at the collar, cuffs, and hem. It reads as a team sweater first and a holiday sweater second, which is exactly how a classic fan likes it.
Mandala Logo Pattern KC Chiefs Christmas Sweater
Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Why it works: The Chiefs arrowhead logo sits at the center of a red-and-gold mandala on a black sweater, with “Chiefs” running down the sleeve. It’s a less expected take on a logo sweater, a good pick for a fan who already owns the basics.
Best for Christmas Lovers
For the person who starts the holiday playlist in November, choose a design where the Christmas motifs get as much space as the team.
Buffalo Bills Snowflakes and Reindeer – Ugly Bills Sweater
Team: Buffalo Bills
Why it works: White reindeer and oversized snowflakes on a dark sweater, with “Bills” across the chest and royal-blue trim. Snowflakes and reindeer are the two most recognizable ugly-sweater motifs, and this design leans into both.
Green Bay Packers Christmas Symbol Print Ugly Christmas Sweater
Team: Green Bay Packers
Why it works: A big “G” logo on green and gold, framed by rows of gift boxes and a band of evergreen trees. It’s festive enough for the office party and still unmistakably Green Bay.
Best for Couples
Instead of one sweater with two logos, try a rivalry pair. Each person gets their own team, and the friendly argument comes free. The Lions and Bears are a natural match: they’ve played each other on Thanksgiving more often than almost any other pairing in NFL history.
Detroit Lions Ugly Sweater – Reindeer and Tree Symbol
Team: Detroit Lions
Why it works: A patchwork of Lions blue and white blocks filled with snowflakes, Christmas trees, and lion logos, for the partner who loves Christmas as much as football.
Chicago Bears Ugly Christmas Sweater With Logo Print
Team: Chicago Bears
Why it works: A navy sweater with a large orange “C” logo and “Chicago Bears” across the chest, finished with orange and white holiday bands. It’s logo-forward, for the partner who’s a fan first. One festive, one classic: each person gets the style that suits them.

Best for Families
Designs built around one big, easy-to-spot logo are the easiest way to match a whole family. They look festive on everyone from a toddler to a grandparent.
San Francisco 49ers White and Red Snowflake Christmas Sweater
Team: San Francisco 49ers
Why it works: The 49ers oval logo on a white body, surrounded by red Christmas trees, with a snowy red pattern on the sleeves. Bright and simple, it looks just as good in a family photo as at a watch party.
Eagles’ Festive Snowflakes – Philadelphia Ugly Christmas Sweater
Team: Philadelphia Eagles
Why it works: The Eagles logo wearing a Santa hat, on a black-to-midnight-green fade with small snowflakes. It’s playful without being busy, so it works on kids and adults alike.

Best for Personalized Gifts
Many of our designs include a custom-text option at checkout, so you can add a name. That small detail turns a team sweater into their sweater.
Buffalo Bills Football Team Logo – Personalized Ugly Bills Sweater
Team: Buffalo Bills
Why it works: Red and royal blue with a large Bills logo and “Buffalo” on the front; the custom name prints across the upper back. Add their name and it’s a gift no one else at the party will have.
Personalized Miami Dolphins Ugly Christmas Sweater – Est. 1966 Dolphins Logo
Team: Miami Dolphins
Why it works: Orange and aqua color blocks with the Dolphins logo and “Miami” on the front; the custom name prints across the upper back. Those bold team colors make it easy to spot across a crowded room.
Before you personalize: Sweaters with custom text are made just for the recipient and can’t be returned or exchanged for size or a change of mind. If we make a mistake with your custom text, that’s covered under our Returns & Refunds Policy. Check the size chart before adding a name.

Not Sure Which Team?
- Look at game-day habits. The hat they wear on Sundays, the mug on their desk, the flag on the porch.
- Don’t assume the hometown team. Plenty of fans moved away years ago and kept the team they grew up with.
- Ask someone close to them. A sibling or coworker can usually answer in one text.
How to Get the Size Right
Our size charts list garment measurements: the size of the sweater itself, not the body of the person wearing it. The easiest way to choose is to compare against a sweater that already fits them well. The adult and kids’ charts measure the chest differently, so use the right method for each.
Adult Sizes (S–6XL)
On the adult chart, Bust is the sweater’s full chest circumference.
- Lay a sweater that fits them well flat on a table.
- Measure straight across the chest, from armpit to armpit.
- Double that number.
- Compare the result with the Bust column on our size chart.
Adult Bust measurements run from 40 inches (S) to 73 inches (6XL).
Kids’ Sizes (Toddler 2T–Youth XL)
On the kids’ chart, Chest is the width of the sweater laid flat, measured from armpit to armpit. Measure a sweater that fits the same way, and compare that number directly. Don’t double it. The kids’ chart also lists a suggested age and height for each size.
Between Sizes or Buying Big and Tall
A difference of up to about an inch from the chart is normal. If they fall between two sizes, go one size up: an ugly sweater usually goes over a shirt, and a little extra room is more comfortable. Every design in this guide is available up to 6XL.

Holiday Ordering Tips
For U.S. Christmas gifts, ordering in November gives you more time for production and shipping. Standard delivery estimates include 2–4 business days for production and 7–14 business days for shipping. These are estimates, not guaranteed Christmas delivery dates. International and remote destinations may require additional time.
- For National Ugly Sweater Day (the third Friday in December): aim to order by the third week of November.
- Give it early. Delivered in early December, it gets worn all season: the office party, Ugly Sweater Day, and Christmas morning.
- Need it sooner? Email [email protected] before you order and we’ll help.
